The last academic year has been exciting with so many new activities, concerts and collaborations. One of which was the association with the Bombay Sappers (a military firm in Pune), that celebrated 200 years of their commencement.

            We felt honored to collaborate with such talented musicians from the military. They often go unrecognized because their performances are closed to public and yet we, as a school were a part of their ceremony. The opportunity of being around, rehearsing and practicing with the true heroes of our nation evoked a feeling of utter joy and respect for them. Their efficiency at whatever they do is absolutely commendable. Despite their sacrifices, they were happy and content. And this is something we all need to learn.

            The collaboration required us to perform a few numbers along with their JAZZ BAND, and the genres ranged from old English classics to new pop-rock songs. Some numbers in the list were You are the reason, the lava song, the cup song and songs by bands like the QUEEN and Imagine Dragons.

            The invitees at the musical evening that took place at the Rane Auditorium, included retired as well as reigning Brigadiers, Commandants and other army officers of various branches. The opportunity to do this event right from rehearsals to the final day of the event was an overwhelming flow of indescribable experiences and emotions that left us with unforgettable memories.
